These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and [ClickCarousel legal entity — to be confirmed] ("ClickCarousel", "we", "us") and govern your access to and use of the ClickCarousel website and application (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you use the Service on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you are authorised to accept these Terms for that organisation, and "you" includes it.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old (or the age of majority where you live) and able to enter a binding contract. You must comply with all applicable laws and with LinkedIn's terms when using the Service.
3. Your account
You are responsible for your account and for all activity under it. Sign-in links and credentials are personal — do not share them. Tell us promptly of any unauthorised use. You are responsible for the LinkedIn account you connect and for keeping your email address current, since sign-in and important notices go there. One free account per person; creating multiple free accounts to accumulate credits is not permitted.
4. Plans, credits & billing
- Plans. We offer a Free plan and paid plans (currently Pro and Ultra), plus optional Managed services. Features, credit allowances and limits are shown at the point of purchase and on the pricing page.
- Credits. Creating a content slide consumes a slide credit when the slide is generated in your outline; cover and call-to-action slides marked as free do not consume credits. Refining an image consumes a refine credit. Manual edits — typing, colours, layout, reordering — are always free. Credits refresh with your billing cycle and, unless stated otherwise at purchase, do not roll over. Top-ups add credits to your balance and expire as stated at purchase.
- Failed generations. If a generation fails on our side, the credits it consumed are returned to your balance automatically.
- Billing. Paid plans are billed in advance (monthly or annually) and renew automatically until cancelled. Prices may change; changes apply from your next billing cycle after notice. You are responsible for applicable taxes where the law puts them on you.
- Free plan. Exports may include a small ClickCarousel watermark and are subject to lower limits.
5. Cancellation & refunds
- Cancel anytime. Cancel in Settings; your plan stays active until the end of the paid period and does not renew. We do not charge cancellation fees.
- 14-day refund window.If you are on your first subscription to a plan and request it within 14 days of purchase, we will refund the payment in full, provided your credit usage in that period is not more than 20% of the plan's monthly allowance. Contact support@clickcarousel.com.
- EU/UK consumers. You have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal for digital services. By starting to use paid features immediately, you request immediate performance and acknowledge that once the service is fully performed (credits fully used), the withdrawal right lapses — the refund window above otherwise applies.
- Otherwise, except where required by law, payments and used credits are non-refundable.
6. AI-generated content
- Review before you publish. The Service generates copy and images with artificial intelligence. AI output can be inaccurate, incomplete or unintentionally similar to other content. You are responsible for reviewing everything before you export or publish it — especially claims, statistics and statements about real people or companies.
- Your output is yours. Subject to these Terms and the applicable AI-provider terms, you may use the output you create commercially.
- We do not train models on your content.Your prompts and content are used to generate your output, not to train our or our providers' models. See the Privacy Policy.
- No guaranteed results. We do not promise any particular reach, engagement or business outcome from content published through the Service.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- break the law or infringe others' rights;
- create or publish spam, deceptive, hateful, harassing or otherwise harmful content, or impersonate any person or organisation;
- automate abusive or mass engagement on other people's LinkedIn content, scrape LinkedIn, or otherwise put our LinkedIn integration at risk;
- upload sensitive personal data (such as government identifiers, financial account numbers or health data) into prompts or content — the Service is not designed to hold it;
- resell, reverse-engineer or disrupt the Service, probe its security, exceed rate limits, or use output to train a competing AI model;
- circumvent credit limits or plan restrictions.
We may suspend or restrict accounts that violate these Terms or that put the Service, other users or our integrations at risk. Where reasonable, we will warn you first.
8. LinkedIn & third-party services
The Service publishes to LinkedIn through LinkedIn's official API, under your own identity and only at your request or on your schedule. Your use of LinkedIn is governed by LinkedIn's own terms; you are responsible for complying with them. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by LinkedIn, and we are not responsible for changes to, or the availability of, third-party APIs.
The Service also relies on other providers — AI generation, payments, email, hosting, storage and analytics — listed in our Third-Party Terms. By creating an account you also accept those providers' applicable terms.
9. Your content
You own the content you create. You grant us a limited, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, process, store and transmit it solely to operate the Service and to publish it where you direct (for example, to LinkedIn). This licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except for short-lived backups. You are responsible for your content and for having the rights to anything you upload (logos, images, quotes).
We may use de-identified, aggregated usage data (never the content itself) to operate and improve the Service.
10. Our intellectual property
The Service — its software, templates, branding and design — is owned by ClickCarousel and protected by law. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use it under these Terms. Templates may be used to create your carousels, not extracted and redistributed as templates.
11. Termination & your data
You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate for breach of these Terms or where required by law. After account closure you have 30 days to export your carousels; we then delete your data as described in the Privacy Policy. Sections that by their nature survive (9–14) survive termination.
12. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Beta or preview features are provided for evaluation and may change or be withdrawn.
13. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, ClickCarousel will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits, data or goodwill. Our total liability for all claims together is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim and USD 100. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law, or your mandatory consumer rights.
14. Indemnification
You will defend and indemnify ClickCarousel against third-party claims arising from your content, your use of the Service in breach of these Terms, or your violation of law or third-party rights — except to the extent the claim results from our own breach.
15. Changes to the Service or these Terms
We may change the Service, and we may update these Terms. For material changes we will give notice (email or in-app) at least 14 days before they take effect, except where changes are required by law or affect only new features. If you do not agree, cancel before the changes take effect; continued use afterwards means acceptance.
16. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of [jurisdiction — to be confirmed], and disputes will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction — without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections and venue rights in your country of residence.
