Cookie Policy
What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies (browser local storage, session storage, pixels) work the same way. They help a site function, remember your preferences and understand how it is used.
How we use them
Some cookies are required for ClickCarousel to work at all — they keep you signed in, remember your light/dark setting and protect payments. Those are always on. Separately, we measure how the product is used so we can improve it. Those analytics cookies only run if you say yes. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, and we do not sell your data.
What we set
| Name / prefix | Category | Purpose | Consent |
|---|---|---|---|
| sb-* | Strictly necessary | Authentication session (Supabase) — keeps you signed in securely. | Always on |
| CookieConsent | Strictly necessary | Stores your cookie choice (Cookiebot) so we don't ask you again on every visit. | Always on |
| cc-marketing-theme, theme (local storage) | Preferences | Remembers your light/dark mode choice. | Always on (stores no personal data) |
| cc.attribution (session storage) | Strictly necessary | Remembers which link or campaign brought you to the site, for the length of this browser tab only, so we can tell which of our own marketing works. First-party, never shared, deleted when you close the tab. | Always on |
| ph_* (cookies and local storage) | Statistics | Product analytics and session replay (PostHog) — which pages and features get used, and where people get stuck. Typing is masked in replays, so what you enter into a field is never recorded. Not used for advertising. | Only with your consent |
| __stripe_* | Strictly necessary | Fraud prevention and checkout (Stripe) — set on payment surfaces. | Always on |
Your choices
The first time you visit, our consent banner asks whether you accept statistics cookies. Nothing in the Statistics row above runs until you accept — no analytics cookie is written and no session replay is recorded. If you decline, or simply ignore the banner, we collect nothing beyond what is strictly necessary.
You can change or withdraw your choice at any time from the cookie banner (reopen it with the link below); withdrawing takes effect immediately, and any analytics identifier already stored is cleared. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings — blocking strictly necessary ones may stop sign-in from working.
Depending on where you are, the banner may not appear: our consent provider only shows it in regions where consent is legally required, and treats visitors elsewhere as consenting. You can still open it and decline using the link below.
Changes
We may update this policy as our use of cookies changes. The "Last updated" date shows the latest revision.
