What is Decoy Font, and why is everyone looking twice?

Who made it

The effect comes from Decoy Font, created by Eric Lu at Mixfont as an experiment in playful, hard-to-read-at-a-glance typography. When you use it in ClickCarousel, you are creating your own design inspired by that idea — a look-twice visual for your own post.

Why it went viral

Most feed content asks for a fraction of a second of attention. This does the opposite — it gives people a reason to look again. They pause, move closer or further, squint, and often show it to someone else. It also landed at the right moment: everyone is curious about what AI can and cannot read.
